Package Details:
Day 01 (Johannesburg):
Arrive at Johannesburg Check in to Hotel. Day for exploring
Jo' burg at your own pace. Overnight at the HI Express.
Day 02 (Johannesburg):
Today, enjoy a Gold Reef City Tour. A mix of gold mining history,
African craft and culture. Visitors can travel underground
and view the gold reef that gave birth to Johannesburg and
watch a bar of gold being poured. Later watch tribal dancers
perform in authentic costumes the traditional songs and dances
of Africa, accompanied by their throbbing drum beats. Overnight
at your Hotel.
Day 03 (Johannesburg - Sun
City): Transfer to Sun City. Check in at the Cabanas Hotel.
Sun City offers an exploding kaleidoscope of sights and sounds
to enjoy, every minute of the day and night. In the afternoon
enjoy a Safari in open vehicles in the adjacent Pilanesberg
Game Reserve to see the big five (elephant, lion, rhino, leopard,
buffalo). Overnight at Sun City.
Day 04 (Sun City - Johannesburg
- George - Knysna): Transfer to Johannesburg for your
flight to George. Upon arrival at George, transfer to Knysna.
Check in at the Hotel Caboose. Overnight at Knysna. Sanur.
Day 05 (Knysna): Transfer
to Oudtshoorn for your tour of the Cango Caves, Ostrich farm
and Wildlife Farm. At the Ostrich farm you can enjoy an ostrich
ride. The Wildlife Farm Tour covers crocodiles and Cheetaland,
where, from an elevated Catwalk, a variety of the world's
most magnificent big cats can be viewed in a large natural
closure. A selection of animals completes the Cango experience.
Overnight at your Hotel.
Day 06 (Knysna - George -
Cape Town): Transfer to Cape Town by Coach through the
scenic Garden Route. Arrive and Check into HI Express Hotel
/Days Inn. Later, enjoy a Cape Town City Tour. See "Bo
Kaap", also known as the Malay Quarter where the architecture
is typical of what Cape Town was like 200 years ago. Also
see Table Mountain S. Africa's most famous landmark, the spectacular
views from the summit stretch across the mountainous spine
of the Cape Peninsula and beyond Table Bay to Robben Island.
Overnight at Cape Town.
Day 07 (Cape Town): Today,
enjoy an excursion to Cape Point Reserve and the Atlantic
Ocean Route to Hout Bay. Once a fishing community, the harbor
still has a charm of days gone by. Enjoy an Optional half
hour cruise to "Seal Island" or visit the"Marines
Wharf". Later enjoy the spectacular Chapmans Peak drive,
with a 200-meter drop on one side and a 200-meter rise on
the other. Make your way south, to Cape Point and the Cape
of good Hope; the romantic meeting place of the two mighty
oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean. Afternoon visit
the Groot Constantia, the house of the first governor of the
Cape. The last stop of the day is at the beautiful Kirstenbosch
Botanical Gardens. Overnight at your Hotel.
Day 08 (Cape Town - Johannesburg
- Home): Transfer to Cape Town for your flight to Johannesburg.
Upon arrival at Johannesburg, board your flight back home.
